Terms & Conditions

We are an exclusive clinic and run by appointment only, please see our booking system through our website for availability.

Once a booking has been requested, The Expert Skin Clinic may invoice you to make payment. please note although card details are taken at time of booking, no payment is made until requested to you by a therapist from The Expert Skin Clinic.  No refunds will be given, but you may move your appointment 48 hours before the start time.

 

Please give us at least 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel or amend your appointment booking.  You will be automatically charged half the treatment cost for missed appointments and appointments cancelled  under 48 hours notice. 

 

We understand from time to time you may be delayed and arrive late for your appointment. On these rare occasions we may not be able to carry out your full treatment. We will try to accommodate you as best we can with the time we have on the day.  Full payment is required for shortened treatments.  Half the treatment cost is charged if you have to rearrange your appointment.

We will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time; however, should we need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance.

 

We reserve the right to amend, modify and alter the cost for treatments without prior notice to our clients. Prices may differ to that shown on emails, messages, literature, Ovatu booking site or our website.

 

For insurance reasons and the comfort of other clients having relaxing treatments we have a “No children or babies” policy at the clinic. We cannot accept any responsibility for a child’s welfare so for the safety of us, the clinic, and the child we ask our clients not to bring young children to the clinics. 

We also ask you not to bring in friends or family as we are a small clinic and cannot accommodate anyone else other than the clients booked in.

Please note our clinic is accessible by stairs and we are on the second floor within Finn & Co hair salon.

Please be aware our we are located in the town centre and occasionally outside noise may be heard, which is obviously out of our control.

Under 16's will need parental consent for treatments.

You may be emailed a review request, we would be grateful if you could send us your feedback on your treatment.

Health & Safety Information

 

Please read what to expect when you visit the clinic. 

  1. Some consultation forms will be emailed before appointments.​ For us to gather important health information.

  2. As a small clinic we cannot accommodate children, friends or family, only clients with an appointment will be allowed into the clinic.​

  3. We have air purifiers in each treatment room. The Radic8 Viruskiller neutralises 99.9999% of viruses in a single air pass including Covid19. ​

  4. We provide hand gel throughout the clinic.

  5. We have the option to wear a visor or mask depending on the service and disposable gloves.

  6. Disposable bio-degradable towels and paper towels will be used, aswell as towels that will be cleaned on a 60 degree wash cycle.​

  7. We follow strict sterilisation rules using Barbicide for our tools, sterile disposable needles and sharps boxes for clinical waste.

  8. Surgical spirit and disinfectant is used to clean the rooms and a disinfectant spray used for furnishings.​

In the event that you are unwell or can not make your appointment, as long as 48 hours notice is given, your appointment can be re-scheduled to another time. if you cancel within 48hrs, your appointment cost will be lost and no refunds will be given.
