Skin Blemishes & Lesions

Skin blemishes or lesions can really affect your confidence, especially if they’re in visible areas. Skin tags, moles, milia and thread veins are just some of the blemishes that we treat with either Advanced Cosmetic Procedure (Advanced Electrolysis) or Cryotherapy.

If we’re concerned about a lesion on your skin, we may recommend you see your GP or a dermatologist.

The following treatments are suitable for Skin Blemishes & Lesions:

Rosacea / Sensitive Skin

Rosacea is an inflammation of the skin, causing persistent redness and sometimes small bumps or broken blood vessels. It can cause the skin to be sore and extremely sensitive too. The root cause is unknown but certain factors like diet and lifestyle can be triggers.

Melasma / Pigmentation

Melasma is a skin problem that can cause darker patches on the skin, commonly on the forehead, cheeks, nose and upper lip. Pigmentation is similar but in smaller, more concentrated areas. It is more common in women and can be triggered by hormonal changes during pregnancy or whilst taking contraception. Sun exposure can also significantly affect melasma and pigmentation, as it causes increased melanin production, so wearing your SPF all year round is essential.

Acne & Scarring

Acne most commonly appears on the face, chest or back. It can appear in the form of spots, cysts or textured bumps. Clogged pores, poor skincare or even hormones are common root causes but it can be extremely hard to get rid of. Even if you've cured your acne, you may be left with significant scarring. Along with topical skin care at home, there are multiple treatments that can help cure and improve acne.
