Our History
The Expert Skin Clinic was founded in 2024 off the back of 20 years of experience, with Larissa’s passion for enhancing confidence through skin health with a specialised focus on blemish removal using advanced skin treatments such as thread vein, mole and skin tag removal.
In 2024 Larissa was diagnosed with skin cancer. That experience led her to introduce a service that helps clients get concerning blemishes checked sooner. The partnership with Map My Mole allows Larissa to upload an image of a blemish of concern which will then get reviewed by leading skin cancer consultants, including founder of Map My Mole - Toby Nelson, within 24-48 hours.
As Larissa herself cannot provide a medical diagnosis, the partnership means she is still able to help clients through the journey, using her own experience and knowledge to determine the best treatment plan.
Larissa’s diagnosis also led to her becoming an ambassador for Skcin - The Karen Clifford Melanoma & Skin Cancer Charity. Skcin is the UK’s leading skin cancer charity specialising in the awareness, prevention and early detection of melanoma & non-melanoma skin cancer through educational intervention.
Off the back of this, Larissa was recently named as a regional KOL for CACI International’s Rejuva Med Treatment. The Rejuva Med facial treatment is a multi-technology facial system designed to deliver visible, results-driven outcomes through a fully customisable treatment experience. As a KOL, Larissa will be responsible for educating and inspiring other skin health professionals, sharing her own expertise and real-world experiences with the new system.
