Do I Need A Consultation?
Yes, we require all treatments to begin with a consultation. This is to ensure we identify the correct skin condition, discuss your skin goals and recommend the best course of treatment. If we are ever unsure about a lesion, we will use Map My Mole to accurately diagnose. To do this, we will upload an image of the blemish to the site, which will then be reviewed by a dermatologist within 2-48 hours.
How Long Will My Treatment Take?
Every blemish reacts to treatment differently, treatment time will be reviewed and discussed in your consultation.
Are You A Dermatologist?
No, we are not licensed dermatologists, we are cosmetic practitioners. Dermatologists specialise in the health of skin and hair, diagnosing and treating rashes, diseases, and skin cancers. Whereas, cosmetic practitioners remove and treat benign skin lesions.
If we are ever concerned about a blemish, we will use Map My Mole. This is an external software which allows us to upload images of blemishes for dermatologists to review and diagnose.
Do You Do Cosmetic Surgery?
No, we are a skin and blemish expert. All treatments provided at The Expert Skin Clinic are non-invasive and surface level.
Do You Offer Botox?
No, we do not offer any cosmetic surgery such as Botox. The Expert Skin Clinic treats and removes skin conditions
Do You Offer Full Body Mole Mapping?
No, as we are not dermatologists, this is not something we offer. However, we can screen a small number of lesions. If any lesions concern us, we will use Map My Mole. This is a service where we upload an image of the blemish so that it can be reviewed by a dermatologist within 2-48 hours.
Do You Have An Age Requirement?
Yes, we require all patients to be 18+
Can You Assess My Rash Or Weeping Skin?
No, as we are not dermatologists, this is not a service we can provide. However, we can refer you to local dermatologists
Do You Prescribe Medication?
No, as we are not dermatologists, we are not licensed to prescribe any medication
Do You Offer Laser Hair Removal?
No, laser hair removal is not something we currently offer at The Expert Skin Clinic
Do You Offer Tattoo Removal?
