Over the 24th and 25th of May 2026, the Prestige Awards hosted their Central England award ceremony at Moor Hall Hotel and Spa where founder of The Expert Skin Clinic, Larissa Warren, picked up the award ‘Skincare Clinic of the Year’.
The Prestige Awards prides themselves on recognising small and medium-sized businesses which have demonstrated excellence, innovation and exceptional customer service throughout the previous 12 months. They boast an independent judging panel who assess nominees based on service excellence, customer reviews, quality, innovation, value, ethical business practices and overall performance. To ensure every award is exclusive, only one winner is selected per category, per region with no-runners up.
During the winners interview, Larissa discussed the important work The Expert Skin Clinic is conducting through benign blemish removal saying “it’s a great service because it creates awareness but it also creates action, which means people then know what to do and can get treatment quicker”
The Expert Skin Clinic was founded on Larissa’s passion for enhancing confidence through skin health with a specialised focus on blemish removal using advanced skin treatments. Following her own skin cancer diagnosis, Larissa made the decision to introduce the Map My Mole service to the clinic. This is a service where you can upload an image of a blemish which causes concern to the system which will then be reviewed by a licensed dermatologist within 2-48 hours.
Larissa discussed this further by saying “My partnership with Map My Mole means that I'm then able to use a service where we get private consultants to look at things and give that diagnosis”. Larissa continues on to explain how this sets her apart from other clinics as she has lived through the process as a patient and also as a practitioner in the clinic. She says how this means she can offer advice based on her own experience which many clients find comforting and reassuring.
When asked about what’s next for The Expert Skin Clinic, Larissa mentioned recently being named as a KOL for Rejuva Med as well as going on to say “I have developed a keynote talk which I’ve already delivered but I plan to deliver it a lot more broadly because then I can speak to people, target bigger audiences, share awareness, share my journey and share the work I do with the companies that I’m in collaboration with”
Along with this, Larissa mentioned that she's “currently writing a book” which is based on the development of her framework for the PATCH Theory. The book encapsulates everything about Larissa’s story and looking for awareness in skin cancers with the deeper level of looking at and paying attention to issues with your skin and how to then take action.
